Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru.

The Interior

Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing interior design solutions for residential and commercial projects, aligned with client requirements and Square Yards’ brand standards. Daily tasks include space planning, preparing design presentations, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed accurately. The role involves creating and reviewing construction drawings,



conducting site visits to monitor progress and quality, and working closely with project managers to meet timelines and budgets.

The Interior

Designer will also engage with clients to understand their preferences, present design options, and incorporate feedback throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in Interior Design and FF&E; selection, with the ability to create functional and aesthetically cohesive spaces.
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Architecture concepts to optimize layouts and circulation.
- Experience preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings and design documentation.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, lighting, and current interior design trends.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and vendors.
- Strong visualization and presentation skills, including proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with attention to detail and time management.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in residential or commercial interiors is preferred.
