Role Description The Information Security & DPDP Compliance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining information security policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) framework. The specialist will conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability reviews, and security audits across applications, networks, and systems, while coordinating remediation activities with IT and business teams.

Daily tasks include monitoring security incidents, managing access controls,



overseeing data privacy practices, and ensuring secure handling of sensitive health and insurance data. The role also requires preparing compliance documentation, supporting internal and external audits, training staff on security and data protection, and collaborating with leadership to continuously improve the organization’s security posture.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Information Security Management and Cybersecurity skills, including risk assessment, security governance, and incident response.
- Candidates should possess Application Security expertise, such as secure development practices, vulnerability assessment of applications, and coordination with development teams.
- Candidates should possess Network Security skills, including firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention, and secure network architecture.
- Candidates should possess Data Privacy knowledge, including DPDP compliance, data protection principles, consent management, and secure data handling.
- Relevant academic background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or privacy certifications) are an advantage.
- Experience in regulated industries such as insurance, healthcare, or financial services, with familiarity with IRDAI and related compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
