The Opportunity

We are looking for a hands-on HR & People Operations Manager to independently manage and strengthen HR operations across both our Goa properties.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys working closely with hospitality teams, understands the realities of day-to-day operations and can balance employee wellbeing with structured systems, accountability and discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Workforce Planning

- Manage end-to-end hiring for hotel, restaurant, café, bar, kitchen and support teams.
- Coordinate manpower planning with department heads.
- Manage onboarding, induction, documentation and exit formalities.

HR Operations & Payroll
- Monitor daily attendance, shift rosters, weekly offs, leave and overtime records.
- Prepare and verify monthly payroll inputs, salary changes, deductions and final settlements.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR reports for both properties.

Employee Relations & Culture
- Be the first point of contact for employee concerns and workplace issues.
- Maintain a professional, respectful and accountable workplace culture.
- Conduct employee engagement activities, performance discussions and retention initiatives.

Training & Performance




- Coordinate induction, service training and departmental skill development.
- Support department heads with performance reviews, feedback and corrective action.
- Identify training gaps and track improvement.

Compliance & HR Administration
- Maintain employee files, contracts, statutory documentation and applicable labour compliance.
- Coordinate with central HR, payroll, accounts and external advisors where required.
- Ensure consistent HR policies and processes across both properties.

On-Ground Operational Support
- Maintain a visible presence across both locations.
- Work closely with property managers and department heads to resolve people-related operational challenges.
- Monitor staff discipline, grooming, welfare and adherence to workplace standards.

Who We’re Looking For

- Preferably 5–8 years of hands-on HR experience, including at least 2 years in hospitality, hotels, resorts or multi-outlet F&B.;
- Strong experience in recruitment, attendance, payroll coordination, employee relations and HR administration.
- Good working knowledge of applicable labour and statutory requirements.
- Comfortable using Excel, HRMS and payroll systems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to independently handle multiple locations and manage priorities.
- Based in Goa or willing to relocate, with the ability to travel regularly between Assagao and Morjim.
