Role Description The Head of Service Operations is a full time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for overseeing end-to-end service operations for compressors, pumps, diesel engines, and related equipment. This position manages service teams, plans and monitors service schedules, ensures adherence to quality and safety standards, and drives continuous improvement in service processes. The role includes coordinating with customers and internal stakeholders, resolving escalated service issues, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring timely availability of spare parts.

The Head of Service Operations will also track performance metrics, implement best practices,



and support strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Service Operations and Service Delivery, with a proven ability to manage complex, field-based service activities.
- Experience in Operations Management, including planning, resource allocation, and process optimization within an industrial or equipment-focused environment.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret performance data, identify trends, and develop actionable improvement plans.
- Demonstrated focus on Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to build long-term client relationships and manage escalations effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or a related technical field; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
- Experience leading cross-functional service teams, preferably in heavy equipment, construction machinery, or diesel engine sectors.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with comfort in on-site, hands-on operational environments.
- Working knowledge of service management tools, maintenance planning systems, and basic financial acumen related to service operations.
