Role - Head Of Account

Role Summary:

The VP - Finance will own the company's overall financial strategy, planning, and controllership. This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving financial discipline, enabling fundraising and capital allocation decisions, and partnering closely with the CEO and Board on long-term strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning

- Own annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning (FP&A;)
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and leadership team on pricing, recent markets, and investment decisions
- Build and present financial models to support key business decisions

Fundraising & Capital Management

- Lead fundraising efforts (debt and/or equity)



and manage relationships with banks, lenders, and investors
- Optimize capital structure and manage working capital (DSO, DPO, inventory efficiency) - Manage banking relationships and credit facilities

Controllership & Compliance

- Ensure timely and accurate monthly/quarterly/annual closing of books
- Oversee statutory compliance GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, transfer pricing (as applicable)
- Build and strengthen internal controls, risk management frameworks, and audit processes Manage statutory and internal audits end-to-end

Board & Investor Relations

- Prepare and present board reports, MIS, and investor updates
- Act as a key point of contact for investors, lenders, and external stakeholders

Team Leadership

- Build, mentor, and lead the finance team (controllership, FP&A;, treasury, tax)
- Institutionalize processes and systems that scale with the company's growth

Systems & Technology

- Drive selection and implementation of finance systems/ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, Tally) to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory; MBA/CFA is a plus
- 7-12+years of overall finance experience.
- Prior experience managing finance for a company in the 300 to 1000 Cr revenue range
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising (debt/equity) and investor management
- Strong knowledge of Indian statutory compliance and regulatory frameworks
- Hands-on experience with ERP/finance systems implementation
