Role Description This is a contract, on-site role based in Chennai for a Freelance Soft Skills Trainer. The trainer will design, develop, and deliver soft skills workshops and training sessions for individuals and teams, aligned with client requirements and Startree’s learning methodologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing training materials, conducting interactive classroom sessions, facilitating group activities and role plays, and assessing participant progress through feedback and evaluation tools.





The trainer will collaborate with client stakeholders to understand training needs, customize content, and provide pre- and post-workshop support to ensure learning transfer. The role also involves maintaining training records, sharing insights with the Startree team, and continuously updating content based on participant feedback and best practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Presentation Skills and effective facilitation capabilities.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Training & Development, including curriculum design and workshop delivery.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication and Soft Skills to engage diverse participant groups.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Life Skills coaching to support personal and professional growth.
- Prior experience as a corporate trainer or soft skills facilitator, preferably in classroom or workshop settings.
- Ability to manage group dynamics, handle questions, and adapt training style to different audiences.
- Comfort working on a contractual basis and delivering on-site programs in Chennai.
- Relevant academic background in psychology, education, management, HR, or related fields is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory training practices.
