Role Description The Formulation Scientist is a full-time, in office role based in Jaipur. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing formulations for specialty organic chemicals, including conducting experimental work in the laboratory and documenting results in a clear and structured manner.

The Formulation

Scientist will plan and execute R&D; projects, analyze data, troubleshoot formulation challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for scale-up and technology transfer. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, preparing technical reports, and supporting regulatory and quality documentation as needed. The role requires proactive problem-solving, close coordination with production teams, and continuous improvement of formulation processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills and hands-on experience working with specialty organic chemicals and formulation processes.




- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) and Research skills for designing experiments, analyzing data, and developing innovative formulations.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Formulation, including optimization, stability studies, and scale-up for manufacturing readiness.
- Candidates should possess Technology Transfer skills to effectively move formulations from lab scale to pilot and commercial production.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in chemical or pharmaceutical laboratories.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in specialty chemicals or related industries is an advantage.
