About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager with strong expertise in GST compliance, taxation, accounting, and financial operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing end-to-end GST activities, ensuring statutory compliance, handling audits, and overseeing financial reporting.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage finance operations while working closely with internal teams and external consultants.

Key Responsibilities

1. GST Compliance & Taxation

- Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C, wherever applicable.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns across applicable business entities.
- Perform GST reconciliation between books of accounts, GSTR-2B, and filed returns.
- Monitor Input Tax Credit (ITC), identify mismatches, and ensure appropriate ITC utilisation.
- Handle GST notices, departmental queries, assessments, and audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable GST regulations, including e-invoicing and reverse charge mechanisms.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and statutory authorities for GST-related matters.

2. Accounting & Financial Management

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Review bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and ledger balances.
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and expense management.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

3. Direct Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Manage TDS calculations,



deductions, payments, reconciliations, and return filings.
- Ensure compliance with applicable income tax provisions and statutory deadlines.
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits.
- Support income tax assessments and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for statutory compliance.

4. Financial Reporting & Controls

- Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial summaries, and variance analysis.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, revenue recognition, and profitability.
- Develop and maintain effective internal financial controls.
- Identify financial risks, compliance gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Support management with financial analysis and decision-making.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CA Inter, CMA Inter, or qualified CA preferred.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, GST, and taxation.
- Strong hands-on expertise in GST return filing, ITC reconciliation, and GST compliance.
- Good working knowledge of TDS, income tax, statutory audits, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Experience handling GST notices, reconciliations, and tax assessments.
- Experience in the service industry, digital marketing, advertising, or an agency setting will be an added advantage.
