Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Factory Manager with hands-on experience in managing coffee factory operations to oversee daily production activities and ensure smooth and efficient factory functioning. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, workforce management, coffee processing, quality control, inventory management, machinery maintenance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of coffee processing procedures, production workflows, storage practices, and quality standards, along with the ability to manage resources effectively, minimize wastage, and maintain workplace safety.

The candidate must also ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and overall factory performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Factory Operations: Oversee daily factory activities and ensure smooth, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.
- Production Planning:



Develop and implement production schedules to meet business targets and delivery timelines.
- Workforce Management: Supervise factory employees, allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure workforce productivity.
- Quality Control: Ensure products meet established quality standards and implement corrective measures to minimize defects and wastage.
- Inventory Management: Monitor raw materials, finished goods, and stock levels to ensure optimal inventory control.
- Machinery Maintenance: Coordinate regular machinery inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify process improvements to reduce production costs, improve productivity, and optimize resource utilization.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with factory safety regulations, company policies, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with procurement, quality, maintenance, stores, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports on production output, manpower, material consumption, machine downtime, and operational performance.
- Problem-Solving: Identify operational challenges, investigate root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Continuous Improvement:



Implement best practices to improve production processes, product quality, and overall factory performance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–6 years of relevant experience in factory operations, production, or manufacturing management.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, inventory management, and machinery maintenance.
- Proven experience in managing factory workers and supervising production teams.
- Good understanding of workplace safety standards and statutory compliance.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle operational challenges and meet production targets.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production or inventory management systems is preferred.
- Must have relevant hands-on experience in managing coffee factory operations.
- Practical knowledge of coffee processing, production planning, quality control, storage, and machinery maintenance is essential.
- Ability to manage factory workforce, optimize production efficiency, minimize wastage, and maintain operational and safety standards.
