Project Role : Emulation Engineer

Project Role Description : Set up and configure emulation platforms such as Zebu, Veloce, Palladium to validate hardware designs and accelerate software testing before tape-out. Debug issues, run extensive test scenarios, and ensure the emulated system accurately mirrors the final products behavior. Collaborate with design and verification teams to optimize performance and reduce time-to-market for complex chip designs.

Summary

As an Emulation Engineer, your typical day involves setting up and configuring advanced emulation platforms to validate hardware designs and speed up software testing prior to final production. You will engage in debugging complex issues, executing comprehensive test scenarios, and ensuring that the emulated systems faithfully replicate the behavior of the final products. Collaboration with design and verification teams is a key part of your role, working together to enhance system performance and contribute to reducing the overall time-to-market for sophisticated chip designs.

Your work environment is dynamic, requiring attention to detail and proactive problem-solving to support cutting-edge technology development.

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Assist in documenting emulation processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing within the team.




- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing expertise to foster their professional growth.
- Continuously monitor and analyze emulation results to identify potential improvements and optimize workflows.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Emulation.
- Experience with configuring and managing emulation platforms such as Zebu, Veloce, and Palladium.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve hardware and software integration issues.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including design and verification engineers.
- Familiarity with running extensive test scenarios to validate system behavior and performance.
- Knowledge of hardware design validation methodologies and emulation best practices.

Additional Information

- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Emulation.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
