Role Description This is a full-time, in office Donor Relations role based in Mylapore. The role involves managing relationships with existing and prospective donors, responding to donor inquiries, and ensuring a high standard of donor care and customer service.

The Donor

Relations team member will coordinate annual giving activities, support fundraising campaigns, and help communicate the impact of donations through reports, updates, and stories. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate donor records,



preparing acknowledgments and receipts, assisting with events and outreach, and collaborating with program and communications teams to align donor engagement with Sevalaya’s mission and projects.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with donors and stakeholders effectively.
- Experience or interest in Donor Relations, Annual Giving, and Philanthropy to support fundraising and stewardship activities.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, manage databases, and prepare timely donor acknowledgments and reports.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficiency in basic office software and comfort working with digital communication tools and social media.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a mission-driven environment and interact respectfully with diverse communities.
- Prior experience in nonprofits, fundraising, or community outreach is an advantage.
- Relevant educational background in social work, communications, marketing, or related fields is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.
