Job PurposeThe candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling engineering design for a material handling equipment manufacturing company, using in-depth knowledge of SolidWorks software.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of SolidWorks software.
- Assist the production team and engineering staff in the design and development of components.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering staff to ensure the form, fit, and function of designs.
- Work with management to ensure the cost-effectiveness and manufacturability of designs.
- Perform product cost analysis.
- Prepare technical designs of products according to specifications received from clients and the sales team.
- Review and verify design drawings and technical documentation prepared by others to ensure correctness and accuracy in form, fit, and function.
- Use specialised software to create product models and drawings.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) for all products.
- Consider cost-effectiveness and safety when developing new designs.
Required Skills
- At least 1 year of experience in mechanical design.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks software.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes.
- Understanding of current cutting tool technology.

Educational QualificationBachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience Required
- Relevant Experience: 1–2 years.
- Total Experience: 2–3 years.
Salary and Employment DetailsMonthly Net Salary: ₹25,000–₹30,000
