Role Description The Design Head Mechanical is a full-time, on-site role located in Pune City, responsible for leading the mechanical design function for EPC MEP projects. This role includes overseeing mechanical design activities, reviewing and approving drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with project requirements, standards, and safety regulations. The position involves coordinating with internal engineering teams and external stakeholders, guiding design engineers, and resolving technical issues during project execution.

Mechanical will also optimize designs for maintainability and cost-effectiveness, support inspections and quality checks,



and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and tools.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to lead complex mechanical design for EPC MEP projects.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and related software for creating and reviewing mechanical drawings and models.
- Experience in Maintenance planning and design considerations to ensure reliability and ease of service for mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of Inspection procedures and standards to verify mechanical design quality and compliance.
- Exposure to Automotive or similar industrial sectors, with an understanding of robust mechanical design practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in a senior or lead mechanical design role within EPC, MEP, or industrial projects.
- Ability to manage and mentor design teams, coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders, and meet project timelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
