Role Description: CAD Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The engineer will develop 3D models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings using Siemens NX and CATIA V5. The role involves interpreting engineering specifications, applying GD&T; principles, performing design modifications, and ensuring compliance with engineering and manufacturing standards. Experience in defence-related projects is preferred.

What You'll Do

- Develop 3D models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings using Siemens NX and CATIA V5.
- Interpret engineering drawings, design specifications, and GD&T; requirements.
- Perform design modifications, assembly checks, and drawing updates.
- Ensure designs meet engineering standards and manufacturing requirements.




- Prepare technical documentation and maintain CAD data.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to meet project deliverables.
- Follow applicable defence project requirements, quality standards, and confidentiality guidelines.

What We're Looking For
- Experience: 4–5 years of relevant CAD design experience.
- Software: Strong hands-on experience in Siemens NX and working knowledge of CATIA V5.
- Good understanding of mechanical design, GD&T;, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience in defence projects is preferred.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Availability: Immediate joiners preferred.
