About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CAD/CAM Engineer to join our Manufacturing & Workshop team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs, generating toolpaths, and programming laser-cutting operations for prototyping and pilot production.

The role requires strong CAD/CAM expertise, practical knowledge of CNC machining, and the ability to improve manufacturing efficiency, precision, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate CNC programs and optimize toolpaths from CAD models.
- Program and support laser-cutting operations for sheet materials.
- Design and develop jigs, fixtures, and tooling to improve production and assembly efficiency.
- Optimize machining parameters to achieve better cycle times, surface finish, dimensional accuracy, and material utilization.




- Collaborate with mechanical design and manufacturing teams to provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback.
- Troubleshoot machining and production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety procedures, and shop-floor best practices.

Key Skills and Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as Fusion 360, Mastercam, or equivalent tools.
- Hands-on experience in CNC programming and machine operations.
- Knowledge of laser-cutting processes and sheet material fabrication.
- Understanding of jig, fixture, and tooling design.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining parameters, and shop-floor practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a precision-oriented approach.
