Role Description The Civil Structural Designer will be responsible for preparing and updating detailed civil and structural drawings and models for industrial facilities and infrastructure projects. Daily tasks include developing design layouts for foundations, steel structures, and concrete elements, coordinating with civil and structural engineers, and ensuring that designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications. The role involves reviewing engineering inputs, performing basic design calculations, supporting design optimization for refineries and other process industry projects, and maintaining accurate documentation and drawing registers.

The designer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams,



participate in design reviews, and address comments to achieve constructible, cost-effective solutions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering, with the ability to apply core principles in industrial and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design for foundations, buildings, and infrastructure, including experience with relevant design codes and standards.
- Experience working on projects in Refineries or other process industries, with understanding of typical facility layouts and structural requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Steel Structures, including detailing, connections, and fabrication-oriented design.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with experience as a civil/structural designer or detailer.
- Proficiency in CAD and modeling tools commonly used for civil and structural design (e.g., AutoCAD, CAD-based structural detailing software); exposure to 3D modeling is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents, and translate them into accurate design deliverables.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary project teams.
- Familiarity with safety, quality, and constructability considerations in industrial and infrastructure design.
