Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Civil 3D role based in Chennai. The Civil 3D skilled is responsible for preparing detailed 2D and 3D civil engineering drawings and models, including site layouts, road designs, grading plans, and utility networks using Autodesk Civil 3D and related CAD tools. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with engineers to understand design requirements, developing accurate digital terrain models, performing quantity take-offs, and updating drawings based on design revisions and client feedback.

The role also involves maintaining project documentation, ensuring drawings meet relevant standards and regulations,



and collaborating with project teams to support timely delivery of engineering packages. Regular communication with project managers and other stakeholders is expected to align design outputs with project timelines and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and develop detailed civil infrastructure designs using Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Work on roads, highways, grading, corridors, and utility networks.
- Create alignments, profiles, cross-sections, surfaces, and earthwork calculations.
- Prepare design drawings, plans, and documentation as per project standards.
- Coordinate with engineering and BIM teams to ensure design accuracy.
- Review drawings and resolve technical design issues.

Required Skills:

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Civil 3D.
- Strong knowledge of road design, corridors, grading, and surface modelling.
- Experience in infrastructure projects and drawing standards.
