Role Description The CAE Engineer role is a full-time remote position responsible for performing computer-aided engineering analyses to support product design and development. Day-to-day activities include setting up and running simulations, conducting structural and mechanical analyses, interpreting FEA results, and providing recommendations to improve performance, reliability, and safety. The CAE Engineer will collaborate with design engineers and project stakeholders, prepare technical reports, and document methodologies and findings.





The role also involves optimizing designs based on analysis outcomes and ensuring that all work aligns with industry standards and client requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Analysis and Mechanical Engineering to evaluate and support design integrity.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Simulations to model complex components and systems.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Optimization to refine designs for performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Proficiency with CAE/FEA software tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, NASTRAN, or similar).
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical findings clearly.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
- Prior experience in an engineering consultancy or product development environment is an advantage.
