The Business Relationship Manager is responsible for acquiring and managing Business Banking customers, driving Business Loan sales, and building long-term relationships with MSME and SME clients. The role focuses on sourcing current business opportunities, analyzing customer financial requirements, and delivering customized lending solutions while ensuring portfolio quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Acquire new MSME/SME customers for Business Loan products.
- Generate leads through market mapping, referrals, cold calling, and networking activities.
- Understand customer business requirements and recommend suitable loan solutions.
- Drive sales of Business Loans, Working Capital, Overdraft, Term Loans, LAP, and other business banking products.
- Conduct financial analysis of customer businesses and gather required documentation.
- Coordinate with Credit, Operations,



and Risk teams for smooth loan processing and disbursement.
- Manage and deepen relationships with existing customers to increase wallet share.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
- Ensure portfolio health, compliance, and adherence to bank policies.
- Cross-sell CASA, Trade, Insurance, and other business banking products.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
- 2-8 years of experience in Business Banking, SME Banking, Business Loans, LAP, or Working Capital sales.
- Strong knowledge of financial statements, credit assessment, and lending products.
- Proven track record in sales and customer acquisition.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
- Local market and industry knowledge preferred.
