About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our Mysuru branch.

The primary responsibility is to recruit and develop Business Associates, enable them to build their own Financial Advisor networks, and generate life insurance business through this distribution channel.

Working directly with the Branch Manager, you will play a key role in expanding the business network, developing productive teams, and achieving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Associate Recruitment: Identify, approach, recruit, and onboard potential Business Associates.

Team Building: Support Business Associates in recruiting and developing their Financial Advisor networks.

Business Generation: Drive life insurance sales through Business Associates and their teams to achieve assigned business targets.

Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and expand the distribution network across Mysuru and surrounding areas.





Performance Management: Monitor recruitment, advisor activation, productivity, and business performance.

Training and Development: Guide Business Associates on product knowledge, sales processes, and effective business development strategies.

Relationship Management: Build strong, long-term professional relationships with Business Associates and Financial Advisors.

Business Planning: Work closely with the Branch Manager to execute recruitment strategies and achieve business objectives.

Compliance: Ensure business activities adhere to company policies and applicable insurance regulations.

Candidate Requirements

Graduate in any discipline.

Prior experience in the life insurance industry is mandatory.

Experience in agency development, Business Associate recruitment, Financial Advisor recruitment, or insurance distribution will be preferred.

Strong communication, networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to recruit, motivate, and develop a productive business network.

A self-driven, ambitious, and target-oriented approach.
