Role: Accountant /Senior Accountant

Experience: 1+years in AU taxation

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review complex financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss reports, and cash flow statements.
- Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes, including accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Oversee tax compliance activities including BAS, IAS, FBT, and income tax returns.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support client decision-making and business improvement.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Supervise and mentor junior accountants,



reviewing their work and fostering a cooperative team environment.
- Support external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CA qualification (or near completion) Added advantage
- Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with financial systems such as Xero, MYOB, or similar platforms.
