- Coordinate with the shipper, overseas agent, shipping line/Nvocc and co-loaders.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and updation of shipment expenses and income in the L-Shipping system based on the approved sales proposal.
- Plan shipments and coordinate the required operational activities.
- Place bookings with the shipping line / Nvocc
- Share booking confirmations with the shipper, including vessel details and applicable cut-off timings.
- Coordinate with the transporter for shipment-related arrangements.
- Coordinate with the CHA (Customs House Agent) for customs-related formalities.
- Obtain Form 13 from the shipping line.
- Obtain SSR/VIA permission from the shipping line, wherever required.
- Prepare and update the Weekly Projection Report.
- Ensure timely and accurate updation of the DSR (Agent Shared DSR & Daily DSR)
- Complete invoicing/billing to the shipper and overseas agent as per the agreed rates and SOP within 3 days of vessel sailing.
- Ensure job closure in the system within 5 days of vessel sailing.

Customer Service

- Good knowledge of handling different type of shipments.
- Well versed with various inco-terms.




- Co-ordination with Client, Overseas Agent for pre shipment activities.
- Co-ordination with Shipping Line / Co-loader for placing booking.
- Updating client on the status of the shipment.
- Sharing all drafts with clients & seeking approval.
- Sharing pre alert with the client.
- Opening job in system and updating all the fields.

Documentation / Operation

- Co-ordinating with the shipping line / co-loader for the arrival of the shipment.
- Procuring Invoice from shipping line / co-loader / CHA / Transporter and booking in the system.
- Well versed with Invoicing aspect.
- Valuable knowledge of managing Accruals in system.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

- 6+years of relevant industry experience
- Bachelor or MBA degree
- xperience in Customer Service & Operations
- Exports Experience is required
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi & respective regional language, both oral and written.
- Confident, self-driven and a team player.
