About the Role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager with 2–5 years of relevant experience in management consulting, banking, MFIs, NBFCs, fintech, or research. The role involves supporting project execution, contributing to business development, and delivering high-quality services to clients while working closely with senior team members.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development

- Contribute to proposals, concept notes, pitch materials, and business cases for prospective clients.
- Support market and competitive landscape assessments to identify opportunities across India, South Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

2. Business Execution

- Participate in assignment planning, primary research,



and client presentations.
- Lead short-duration assignments under the supervision of senior team members.
- Execute assignments with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Conduct data analysis and demonstrate robust business writing skills.
- Bring structure to problems and develop concepts from limited information.
- Contribute to MSC's toolkits and other publications.

3. Teamwork and Collaboration

- Maintain transparent communication and build strong working relationships within the team.
- Contribute individually while working collaboratively towards shared goals.
- Demonstrate curiosity and a willingness to learn and grow within the organisation.
- Align with the organisation's work culture.

4. Travel Requirements

- Be open to frequent travel within India and occasional international travel.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in management consulting, banking, MFIs, NBFCs, fintech, or research.
- Strong data analysis and business writing skills.
- Understanding of India's financial services industry is desirable but not mandatory.
