Accountant – Accounts Department
Industry: Insurance Broking / Risk Management
Job Purpose:
To manage day-to-day accounting operations, insurance-related financial transactions, bank reconciliations, premium accounting, vendor payments, statutory compliance, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally, ERP, or other accounting software.
- Record and verify sales, purchase, journal, payment, and receipt entries.
- Maintain general ledger, cash book, bank book, and other accounting records.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices, vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Reconcile premium collections, insurer statements, and outstanding balances.
- maintain sibro software daily entry and reconciliation.
