Role Description The Accommodation Expert is a full-time, hybrid role based in Gwalior, with flexibility for some work from home. This role involves guiding students through the accommodation search and selection process, understanding their preferences, budgets, and university locations, and matching them with suitable housing options.

The Accommodation

Expert will liaise with accommodation providers and partner agencies, gather and verify property information, and support students through the booking and documentation process. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling inquiries via email, phone, and online channels,



maintaining accurate records of leads and bookings, and ensuring timely follow-up and support. The role also includes contributing to process improvements, supporting B2B collaboration efforts, and providing transparent, empathetic communication to enhance the overall student experience.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain options clearly and build trust with students and partners.
- Customer service and relationship management skills, with experience handling inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support across digital channels.
- Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple student cases, follow-ups, and partner interactions efficiently.
- Basic sales and negotiation skills to present accommodation options, address concerns, and support successful bookings.
- Comfort with online tools and platforms, including spreadsheets, CRM or lead-tracking systems, and virtual meeting tools.
- Understanding of or interest in international education, student mobility, or hospitality is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup from Gwalior, with self-motivation and accountability for independent tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred; prior experience in accommodation services, hospitality, or study-abroad consulting is an advantage.
