About the role

Ramcides is expanding its Plant Nutrition business in Northeast India. We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to set up and grow our presence across these states, from appointing distributors and dealers to building brand awareness among farmers.

Key responsibilities

- Set up the Plant Nutrition business across the assigned Northeastern states
- Identify, appoint and manage distributors and dealers
- Achieve sales, market share and collection targets for the territory
- Plan and run farmer meetings, field demonstrations and promotional activities
- Track market trends, competitor activity and pricing, and share regular feedback with the management team
- Maintain strong relationships with the channel partners and key influencers
- Report on sales performance, stock and market development

Who we are looking for





- Experience in field sales in agri inputs such as plant nutrition, fertilizers, bio-stimulants, agro chemicals or seeds
- Proven business handled in the Northeast states other than Assam
- Hands-on experience in distributor and dealer appointment and management
- Comfortable with extensive travel within the territory
- Robust communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and build a market from scratch

Good to have

- Experience launching products or entering new markets
- Knowledge of local crops, farming practices and regional languages
- Existing distributor and dealer network in the region
