Position: Analog Layout Engineer

HCLTech is looking for experienced Analog Layout Engineers to join our Semiconductor Engineering team in Bangalore. The role offers an chance to work on complex custom analog and mixed-signal layouts across advanced semiconductor technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Hands-on experience in Analog/Mixed-Signal Layout Design, including Power Management, Data Converters, High-Speed Analog, IO, Clocking Solutions, and Custom IP development.
- Design and own schematic-driven physical layouts for blocks such as PLL, ADC, DAC, LDO, PHY IPs, and custom digital circuits, with strong expertise in floorplanning, matching, signal integrity, and power-grid design.
- Perform and debug physical verification including DRC, LVS, ERC, Antenna, EM/IR,



along with ESD protection and latch-up prevention, ensuring tape-out readiness.
- Experience with advanced process technologies including Intel Advanced Nodes, TSMC N16/N7/N5/N3, Samsung Advanced Nodes, GlobalFoundries, BCD, and Bi-CMOS technologies.
- Collaborate closely with circuit designers and engineering teams on PPA/DFM optimization and layout reviews; senior engineers should also have experience in team leadership, mentoring, schedule estimation, task delegation, EDA methodology improvement, and automation using SKILL/Perl/Python.
