Role Description The Revenue Manager is a full time remote role responsible for maximizing revenue and profitability across Gen Nest Hospitality’s properties. This position manages pricing strategies, distribution channels, and inventory controls, using data and market insights to optimize occupancy and rates. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring demand trends, competitive set performance, and booking patterns; preparing revenue forecasts; and recommending rate adjustments and promotions. The Revenue Manager will collaborate with operations, sales, and finance teams to align revenue plans with broader business objectives, ensure accurate reporting, and support budgeting and planning.



The role also involves maintaining standardized revenue management processes, generating regular performance reports, and identifying opportunities for improvement in systems and strategies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, analyze trends, and make informed pricing and distribution decisions.
- Candidates should possess Revenue Management and Revenue Recognition skills to develop strategies, manage rate plans, and ensure accurate and compliant revenue reporting.
- Candidates should possess Finance and Accounting skills to understand P&L; impacts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls within a hospitality context.
- Relevant experience in hospitality or lodging revenue management, distribution, or yield management is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with revenue management systems, PMS/CRS tools, and Excel or other analytics software is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
