Senior QA TesterExperience : 3+ YearsAbout the Role :We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Tester to ensure product quality and reliability across releases. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in manual testing, functional and regression testing, API testing, database validation, and end-to-end testing. The role involves working closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to identify defects, validate fixes, improve test coverage, and ensure stable product releases.Key Responsibilities :- Plan and execute QA activities across product releases.- Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on product requirements.- Perform functional, regression, integration, API, database, and end-to-end testing.- Test REST APIs using Postman and validate API responses.- Perform database testing and data validation using SQL and PostgreSQL.- Identify, document, track, and verify defects in collaboration with development teams.- Conduct release validation and support production issue analysis.- Collaborate with Product, Backend, Frontend, and DevOps teams to ensure product quality.- Improve testing processes, test coverage, and overall QA practices.- Guide junior QA team members when required.Required Skills and Qualifications :- 3+ years of experience in QA engineering or software testing.- Strong hands-on experience in manual, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.- Practical experience in API testing using Postman and testing REST APIs.- Valuable knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL for database testing.- Experience with Git and Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.- Good communication and collaboration skills.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.Good to Have :- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, cloud environments, and microservices.- Familiarity with Kafka or performance testing.- Understanding of QA process improvements and test automation practices.What the Role Offers :- Fixed salary.- Exposure to products serving domestic and international brands.- Opportunities to work across multiple digital business verticals.- A collaborative environment with opportunities for learning and career growth (ref:hirist.tech)
