Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, reconciliations, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have at least four years of relevant accounting experience, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.

Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounting documentation.

Prepare monthly financial statements, profit and loss reports, and other management reports.

Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations regularly.

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Monitor expenses, cash flow, and outstanding payments.

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

Ensure proper maintenance of invoices, vouchers, bills, and supporting documents.

Coordinate with auditors, banks,



vendors, and other relevant parties when required.

Assist with GST returns, TDS compliance, and other applicable statutory accounting requirements.

Support budgeting, financial analysis, and internal reporting.

Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field preferred.

Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Practical understanding of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and statutory compliance.

Experience using accounting software such as Tally or other relevant ERP systems.

Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel and basic financial reporting tools.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and time management.

Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
