About the Role:Barco is looking for a skilled Software Engineer - Python Automation to join its Barco Control Rooms (BCR) product development team. The role focuses on developing and enhancing test automation frameworks for Barco CTRL, a software platform designed for mission-critical control room environments.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and enhance robust system-level test automation frameworks.- Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA engineers, and Scrum teams to improve automation coverage.- Monitor automated test execution, troubleshoot failures, and improve test stability.- Participate in component-level and system-level validation activities.- Maintain automation frameworks, dependencies,



and supporting tools.- Develop and execute test strategies to support high-quality software releases.- Work with cross-functional teams across multiple locations and time zones.- Follow automation best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.- Support CI/CD integration and automated testing within the software delivery lifecycle.Required Skills:- B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science or a related discipline.- Strong proficiency in Python programming.- Experience designing and developing automation framework architecture.- Hands-on experience with Selenium, PyTest, JMeter, or similar automation tools.- Experience with Jenkins, Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.- Solid analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications:- Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.- Experience or knowledge of networking concepts and technologies.- Experience working in a product-based software development organization.What You'll Work On:- You will contribute to the quality and reliability of Barco CTRL, helping deliver robust software for mission-critical control room operations through scalable automation and continuous testing improvements.
