Metal and Auomobile Manufacturing
Experience: 5-10 years
Production & Plant Operations
Independently manage production planning, manpower, machine utilization, capacity and delivery commitments.
Manufacturing Process Knowledge
Solid hands-on knowledge of CNC, VMC and Sliding Head machining, including machine setting, tooling, process parameters and troubleshooting.
Production Performance
reduce downtime, rejection, rework and manufacturing costs.
4. 4M Change Management
Ensure proper evaluation, approval, validation and documentation of changes in Man, Machine, Material and Method, including customer approval wherever required.
Customer Management
Independently handle OEM and Tier 1/Tier 2 customers, including technical discussions, customer visits, complaints and corrective-action follow-up.
Quality Systems & Core Tools
Implement 5S, Kaizen, FIFO, traceability, standardized work, poka-yoke and waste-reduction initiatives.
Coordinate feasibility reviews, process development, tooling, trials and validation through to regular production.
Costing & Commercial Understanding
Understand product costing, machining cycle-time costing, tooling costs and profitability; Support OEM business development, market expansion, brand promotion and identification of new B2C product opportunities.
Lead and develop teams, strengthen operator skills and coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase and other functions to achieve cost, quality and delivery targets.
