As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape of our organisation by championing best practices in infrastructure automation, continuous integration, and deployment. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including QA, UI, Development, IT/Ops, and non-engineering stakeholders, is integral to this role.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
Implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment, ensuring reliability and speed in software delivery.
Maintain and enhance the existing IaC scripts to ensure efficient provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to infrastructure and deployment processes.
Administer and optimise Linux and/or Windows systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Configure and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of systems.
Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker.
Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes, Nomad or similar platforms.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure our technology stack remains current and competitive.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a senior capacity of at least 6 years in an enterprise-grade environment.
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Robust expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Experience with micro-services deployments (e.g., Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
