Barco is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software products.The ideal candidate will have robust experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, and Python, along with a solid understanding of APIs, databases, and modern software engineering practices.The role involves building scalable applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to technical design, code quality, and reliable software delivery.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.- Build responsive and maintainable user interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular.- Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js and Python.- Design, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and service interfaces.- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to support application requirements.- Contribute to microservices-based applications and scalable software architectures.- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and design decisions.- Apply software engineering best practices, including automated testing and Test-Driven Development where appropriate.- Collaborate with product owners, designers, QA engineers, and other developers in an Agile environment.- Troubleshoot defects, improve application performance,



and resolve technical issues.- Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous integration and delivery.- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Required Skills and Qualifications :- 5 - 11 years of professional software development experience.- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.- Experience developing frontend applications using Angular.- Backend development experience with Node.js.- Working knowledge of Python.- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.- Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.- Knowledge of microservices and modern application architecture.- Familiarity with Git, automated testing, and code review practices.- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.Preferred Skills :- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.- Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.- Experience building enterprise-grade or product-based software applications.- Understanding of application performance, security, and scalability.- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.Education :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
