This position is based out of PTC's Pune R&D; facility.

S/he will be primarily responsible for designing and implementing projects in Java, other related technologies

Prepare work estimates for assigned project and tasks- Develop iterative prototypes when appropriate

Run unit tests and deliver automated tests to QA for inclusion in a regression testbed when appropriate

Resolution of software defects (all aspects from evaluation, fixing, workarounds, unit testing) as per organization guidelines.

Provide timely and complete information to the QA group to facilitate formal testing

Bachelors in Computer Science or related discipline.



5-7 Years Programming Experience - of which minimum 4+ years should be in developing Java applications.

Added advantage - knowledge of SCRUM/Agile development methodology, experience in product development, knowledge of Oracle or SQL Server, exposure to Web Technologies like JSP/Servlet, Javascript, REST, etc.
