IDBS, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to develop high-quality software solutions for customer escalations and support incidents in life sciences software. The role involves troubleshooting complex technical issues, collaborating across teams, and promoting engineering best practices within an on-site Bangalore-based customer sustaining team.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions addressing customer escalations and support incidents

Investigate and resolve defects through root cause analysis, creating and validating patches for customers

Troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues using performance profiling and network diagnostic tools

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences and software functionality

Support recruitment, onboarding,



and mentoring of new team members while promoting engineering best practices

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Solid expertise in Java, JavaScript (React/Angular), microservices, and RESTful web services
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Copilot, ChatGPT)
- Proficiency in database design and optimization for Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- Strong test automation practices with JUnit, Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Playwright, and Jasmine
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, and related DevOps tools
