Project Manager

In this role, you will be reporting to the Business Manager - Portfolio and will be responsible for on-site robot debugging which includes robot system commission, functional program module writing, process debugging and problem handling.

This role is contributing to ABB Robotics for Robot Automotive Division based in Bangalore, India.

Manage and monitor paint shop projects throughout the execution phase until Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC) is obtained.

Achieve and maintain paint process parameters such as DFT, gloss, and color values,



including support for underbody coating and spray applications.

Program and debug industrial robots for applications like spraying, gluing, flaming, blowing, wiping, and film thickness detection, along with hands-on experience in robot disassembly and maintenance.

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Paint technology/Chemical engineering/Mechanical.

Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Automation & Paint shops.

Ability to Paint robot system commission, functional program module writing, process debugging and problem handling.

In depth knowledge of Atomizers/Spray gun and gluing, flaming, blowing, wipe, film thickness detection.

Familiar with Sealant equipment like ABB IDFP, Graco PCF, SCA Dozer and Powder coating/Solvent borne paints/water borne paint knowledge.
