Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services for depot management, vehicle management, charge scheduling, and other FleetOps capabilities.

Deliver features from planning through production release, including design, coding, automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.

Write unit and integration tests and use AI-assisted testing tools to validate production changes.

Collaborate with Product, Support, Quality, and other cross-functional partners to clarify requirements and resolve technical issues.

Participate in code reviews, document technical decisions, and uphold engineering standards.

Use AI-assisted coding tools and explore multi-agent workflows and automated development practices.

Requirements

- 3+ years of skilled backend software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with JVM languages such as Java or Kotlin.
- Working experience with Spring Boot and relational databases.
- Basic experience with or exposure to Apache Kafka, Docker,



and Kubernetes.
- Working experience with at least one of AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and debugging.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
- Ability to communicate technical choices clearly, break down user stories, estimate work, learn frameworks quickly, and adapt to changing requirements.
