Ciklum is looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team full-time in India. As a Senior Java Software Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Ciklum is building a collaborative sportswear design platform for TOP-5 company in the sportswear market. Scalable solution that is used by famous worldwide sportswear designers to create and bring to market new sports fashion collections. Part of the larger Product Lifecycle Management ecosystem the platform delivered within the current project will become a market differentiator and key comparative advantage for multi-billion business. The project uses proven and edge technologies and concepts, such as Event-Driven architecture, Behaviour-Driven Development, DevOps.

Back-end development to meet customer's business needs and implement components according to modern software development environment (cloud-based platforms, microservice architecture, etc.)
Taking part in the decision-making process in design application architecture, solution development, architecture and code review
Design and implement a set of various types of tests (unit, integration, functional, etc)




Working in an international distributed team in an Agile setting
To use high coding standards, software best practices and write highly testable, automatable and performant code over the whole SDLC

Experience in software development for more than 8 years
Excellent knowledge in Computer Science, Computing Theory:
Database theory (RDBMS, NoSQL)
Code testing practices
Data structures
Understanding of network interactions:
Excellent knowledge and experience in Java (more than 5 years)
Practical commercial experience with:
AWS – more than 1 year
Web application frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot Framework)
Testing frameworks (e.g. Hibernate)
g PostgreSQL, Oracle)
MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB)
Docker
Orchestration and containerization (Kubernetes)
Experience with:
Creation software architecture and design of complex applications, platforms
