Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Android Developer with strong expertise in Android Open Source Project (AOSP), Android Framework development, and Android Automotive OS (AAOS). The candidate will be responsible for Android platform customization, system-level development, HAL integration, SoC platform bring-up, and debugging complex hardware/software integration issues for next-generation automotive systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and integrate AOSP / Android Automotive OS (AAOS) for automotive SoC platforms.
Own Android Framework, HAL, system services, and platform integration activities.
Develop and integrate AIDL/HIDL HALs, JNI, and native C/C++ components.
Work closely with Linux/BSP, SoC, hardware, and application teams for platform bring-up and integration.
Integrate and debug display, audio, camera, connectivity, storage, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and other SoC peripherals.
Analyze and resolve Android system-level, Linux kernel, BSP, and hardware/software integration issues.
Perform platform-level performance, stability, boot-time, and memory optimization.
Customize Android build configurations and manage AOSP/Soong/Make integration.
Collaborate with SoC vendors, including Telechips, for issue analysis, patches, and platform integration.
Participate in architecture and design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.




Independently drive assigned topics from requirements and development through integration, debugging, and delivery.
Support release activities, defect resolution, and production issue analysis.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.

Required Technical Skills

- 6–8+ years of experience in Android development, preferably in automotive Android.
- Strong hands-on experience with Android Framework and AOSP customization.
- Proficiency in Java/Kotlin and C/C++ programming.
- Experience with Android HAL, AIDL/HIDL, and JNI.
- Valuable understanding of Android architecture, system services, and Binder IPC.
- Experience with Android BSP/SoC integration and board bring-up.
- Hands-on experience with Android build systems, including Soong and Make.
- Good knowledge of Linux Kernel, Device Tree, and Android drivers.
- Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or automotive infotainment systems.
- Experience integrating display, audio, camera, connectivity, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, storage, and other SoC peripherals.
- Strong Android system-level debugging skills using ADB, logcat, dumpsys, systrace, Perfetto, and related tools.
- Experience with Git, Gerrit, and CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to independently own technical topics and drive issues to closure.

Preferred Experience
Automotive infotainment platform development.
Direct experience with automotive SoC platforms and SoC vendor collaboration.
Telechips platform integration and debugging experience.
Experience optimizing Android platform performance, stability, boot time, and memory usage.
