**Associate

- Tunnelling & Geotechnical**
- A strong academic background with bachelor's degree in civil engineering plus master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent.
- Should have proven previous experience of TBM & NATM Tunnel designs for soft rocks and mixed ground
- Ability to lead project teams.
- Experience in the delivery of geotechnical projects, including preparing reports to a high technical level. Understanding of client requirements. Effectively manage and deliver project work with robust project financial management.
- Working knowledge with large scale infrastructure projects
- Min. 16+ years of relevant design experience in a consulting environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and technical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with international clients.
- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to self-check- Undertake own continuing professional development and that of others, including representing the geotechnical team at technical conferences and seminars.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering plus master's degree in Geotechnical or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Engineering Geology and Tunnel design and Construction Methods.
- Numerical modelling software experience for design of staged excavations is preferred.
- Sufficient post-graduation experience, with a significant proportion gained with an engineering design company undertaking the design of tunnels or related infrastructure in Soft Ground and Hard Ground.
