Job Summary

Key ResponsibilitiesPlumbing Maintenance

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of:

- Water supply lines

- Drainage systems

- Sewage pipelines

- CP fittings and sanitary fixtures

- Pantry plumbing systems

- Water storage tanks

- Pumps and piping systems

Installation & Repairs

- Repair leakage in pipelines, valves, and fittings
- Replace damaged pipes, taps, faucets, and fixtures
- Install plumbing accessories and sanitary equipment
- Attend emergency plumbing complaints promptly

Pump & Utility Maintenance

- Monitor operation of:

- Transfer pumps

- Booster pumps

- Sump pumps

- Drain pumps

- Check pressure levels and water flow

- Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting

Inspection & Monitoring

- Inspect pipelines and fittings for leakage or blockage
- Ensure proper functioning of flush systems and drainage lines
- Monitor water consumption and wastage issues
- Maintain plumbing service records and reports

Preventive Maintenance

- Periodic cleaning of drain lines and traps
- Inspection of valves, joints, and flexible hoses
- Water tank inspection and minor servicing
- Ensure proper functioning of sanitary systems

Coordination & Support

- Coordinate with facility management and other maintenance teams
- Assist during civil or renovation-related plumbing activities
- Support vendors/OEMs during major repairs

Safety & Compliance

- Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Ensure work compliance with plumbing and building standards
- Maintain cleanliness at work locations

Required Skills :

- Knowledge of plumbing systems and sanitary fittings
- Ability to read plumbing layouts and piping drawings
- Troubleshooting of water supply and drainage systems
- Basic knowledge of pumps and plumbing tools
- Valuable understanding of commercial building maintenance

Qualification

- ITI / Vocational Certification in Plumbing
- Additional technical certification preferred

Experience

- Minimum 2-5 years experience in commercial or IT building maintenance

Preferred Knowledge

Experience in handling:

- Commercial plumbing systems
- Sewage and drainage systems
- Water pumps and piping
- STP/WTP support systems
- Plumbing maintenance in IT parks/commercial buildings

Working Conditions

- Rotational shifts may be required
- Emergency support during plumbing breakdowns
- Work in plant rooms, washrooms, utility areas, and office spaces

Reporting

Reports to:

- Facility Manager / Maintenance Supervisor / Site Engineer

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
