Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to handle the operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems in an IT building environment. The technician shall ensure uninterrupted cooling operations for office areas, server rooms, and critical facilities.

Key ResponsibilitiesHVAC System Maintenance

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of:

- VRF/VRV Systems

- Cassette Units

- Hi-Wall Split AC Units

- Ductable AC Units

- Package Units

- AHU/FCU Systems

- Precision AC / CRAC Units

- Exhaust and Ventilation Systems

Troubleshooting & Repairs

- Diagnose electrical and refrigeration faults
- Repair compressors, motors, blowers, thermostats, and control circuits
- Identify refrigerant leakage and perform gas charging
- Attend emergency breakdowns promptly

Monitoring & Operations

- Monitor temperature and humidity levels in server rooms and office areas
- Ensure uninterrupted cooling for critical IT infrastructure
- Maintain HVAC logs and operational records
- Coordinate with OEM/service providers when required

Electrical & Control Checks

- Inspect control panels, thermostats, sensors, actuators, and safety devices
- Perform electrical tightening and insulation checks
- Verify communication between indoor and outdoor units

Preventive Maintenance

- Cleaning of filters, coils, drain lines, and blower assemblies




- Lubrication of moving parts where applicable
- Drain pump and condensate line maintenance
- Periodic performance testing and reporting

Safety & Compliance

- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Ensure compliance with building and electrical safety standards
- Maintain housekeeping in HVAC plant rooms and work areas

Required Skills :

- Knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration cycle
- Understanding of electrical control circuits
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and HVAC schematics
- Basic knowledge of BMS/automation systems preferred
- Familiarity with server room cooling systems is an advantage

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or Electrical
- HVAC certification preferred

Experience

- Minimum 2-5 years experience in commercial/IT building HVAC maintenance

Preferred Knowledge

Experience in handling:

- VRF/VRV Systems
- CRAC/Precision AC Units
- AHU/FCU Systems
- VAV Systems
- HVAC Control Panels
- BMS Integrated HVAC Systems

Working Conditions

- Rotational shifts may be required
- On-call support for critical breakdowns
- Work in server rooms, plant rooms, and office environments

Reporting

Reports to:

- Facility Manager / HVAC Supervisor / Maintenance Engineer

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
