We are looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Product Development Engineer to join our core team. You will be instrumental in taking product concepts from initial industrial design phases through to manufacturing. If you have a strong command of SolidWorks and hands-on experience designing for plastics and sheet metal, we want you to help us build our next line of premium products.

Key Responsibilities

- 3D Modeling & Detailing : Create robust, parametric 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM) & Assembly (DFA) : Engineer parts specifically for plastic injection moulding and sheet metal fabrication
- Prototyping & Validation : Lead the development of physical prototypes. Test, evaluate, and iterate designs based on functional and aesthetic requirements.
- Vendor Coordination : Work closely with manufacturing partners and toolmakers to troubleshoot production issues and ensure quality control during the transition to mass production.
- Cross-functional Collaboration :



Work seamlessly with industrial designers to ensure the original design intent is maintained without compromising manufacturability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience : 2 to 3 years of proven experience in mechanical product engineering or product development.
- Software Mastery : High proficiency in SolidWorks (including solid modelling, advanced surfacing, and the sheet metal workplace).
- Plastics Expertise : Deep understanding of plastic part design principles (draft angles, wall thicknesses, ribbing, bosses, sink marks, and mould flow fundamentals).
- Sheet Metal Expertise : Strong knowledge of sheet metal design guidelines (bend allowances, K-factors, corner reliefs, and fabrication processes like laser cutting and bending).
- Education : Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Availability : Must be available to join immediately.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
