We’re Hiring | Associate - Financial Due Diligence (FDD)

BNC has been mandated to recruit an experienced Financial Due Diligence (FDD) Associate for one of our Advisory (Transaction Advisory) clients based in Gurgaon.

Location: Gurgaon (On-site) Firm Type: Advisory Firm - Transaction Advisory Experience: Minimum 2+ years (hands-on FDD / Internal Audit experience)

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-ownership professional who can independently execute end-to-end FDD workstreams, manage timelines, and deliver sharp, deal-focused insights to investors and management teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute buy-side and sell-side FDD engagements (scoping, DRLs, coordination, issue tracking) :

- Analyze financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and identify key drivers and risks :

- Deliver detailed QoE analysis, including normalization adjustments and EBITDA bridges :

- Assess working capital, net debt, and cash conversion; identify seasonality and one-offs :

- Review accounting policies, revenue recognition, margin and concentration risks :





- Prepare concise diligence reports and present findings to seniors and clients

- CA (preferred) / MBA (Finance) / CFA or equivalent :

- 2+ years with Tier 1 / Tier 2 firms in Financial Due Diligence OR Internal Audit with robust transaction/diligence exposure :

- Hands-on experience in Quality of Earnings (QoE), Working Capital, and Net Debt analysis :

- Experience in the Infrastructure Space sector will be preferred. :

- Strong understanding of accounting and FDD concepts :

- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint/reporting skills :

- High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset :

- Ability to independently own workstreams :

- Strong Excel skills and structured, concise report-writing ability :

- Comfortable in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
