Key Responsibilities

- Diagnostics : Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in A/C systems using diagnostic equipment.
- Repair and Maintenance : Replace faulty components, such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, and hoses.
- System Charging : Recharge air conditioning systems with appropriate refrigerant (e.g., R-134a, R-1234yf) while ensuring environmental compliance.
- Leak Detection : Identify and fix leaks in the A/C system.
- Testing : Test performance of repaired systems to ensure proper pressure and cooling efficiency.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of services, parts used, and repairs.
- Customer Service : Explain technical issues and recommended repairs to customers or service advisors.

Requirements and Skills

- Education :



High school di or equivalent; vocational training in automotive repair or HVAC.
- Certification : ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification, specifically A7 (Heating and Air Conditioning), is highly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and HVAC principles.
- Experience : Proven experience as an auto mechanic or specialized A/C technician.
- Licensure : Valid driver’s license.
- Physical Ability : Ability to lift heavy parts (up to 50 lbs) and work in varied positions.
