Definition

The Engineering Store Manager is responsible for managing the inventory and storage of

engineering spares, maintenance consumables, machinery parts, and tools to ensure

uninterrupted plant operations. The role focuses on inventory control, cost optimization,

timely availability of critical spares, and proper documentation through ERP systems.

Education Graduate / Post Graduate (Commerce / Supply Chain / Management)

Additional qualification in Materials Management / Supply Chain preferred

Experience 8-15 years of experience in stores/warehouse in FMCG or food manufacturing industry.

Solid knowledge of Inventory Management & stock reports

n 1. Spare Part and Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of engineering spares, machine components, utilities spares, electrical

items, and consumables..

Ensure availability of critical and fast-moving spare parts to avoid production downtime..

Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder levels for engineering items.

Identify slow-moving and non-moving inventory and recommend corrective actions.

1. Store Operations: Supervise inward and outward movement of engineering materials and spare

parts.

Ensure proper storage,



tagging, and identification of spares and

equipment.

Maintain bin locations, rack systems, and warehouse organization.

Implement FIFO where applicable for consumables.

Stock Verification on monthly basis

1. ERP & Documentations: Maintain accurate records such as GRN, material issue slips,

stock registers, and returnable items.

Ensure real-time inventory updates in ERP/SAP system.

Generate MIS reports on spare consumption, stock valuation, and

variance.

1. Coordination with Engineering & Purchase: Coordinate closely with maintenance team for spare planning and

preventive maintenance requirements.

Work with procurement team for timely ordering of spares.

Support shutdown planning by ensuring spare availability

5.Team Management: Supervise store officers, assistants, and helpers.

Train staff on inventory systems and procedures.

Monitor productivity and discipline within the team.

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
