As we aggressively scale our online revenues, we are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented E-commerce Developer to take complete technical ownership of our web platforms, ensuring a seamless, luxury shopping experience for our clients.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities1. Platform Management & Maintenance

- WordPress/WooCommerce : Manage theme customization, maintain database health, optimize plugins, and ensure robust security protocols (including setting up 2FA/Google Authenticator for administrative staff).
- Shopify : Set up, customize, and manage Shopify store themes, manage apps, and configure product catalogs, collections, and navigation structures.
- Migration Readiness : Provide technical insights and execution capability should the brand require cross-platform migration or headless e-commerce setups in the future.

1. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) & Mobile Performance

- Optimize both WordPress and Shopify storefronts for maximum mobile loading speed (targeting under 2.5 seconds).
- Compress and optimize high-resolution luxury product imagery without compromising visual quality.
- Audit and refine the checkout funnel to eliminate friction and reduce cart abandonment rates.

- Integrations & Tracking





- Integrate and test official WhatsApp Business APIs (e.g., Interakt, AiSensy, WATI) for automated cart recovery, order confirmations, and customer support.
- Properly set up and maintain data tracking scripts, including Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API (CAPI), and Google Analytics (GA4) to ensure performance marketing metrics are 100% accurate.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

- Experience : 2-5 years of hands-on experience building and managing commercial e-commerce stores on both WordPress and Shopify.
- Core Languages : Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP (for WordPress) along with a solid understanding of Liquid (Shopify’s templating language).
- Responsive Design : Deep knowledge of mobile-first UI/UX principles. Elements must look perfect and polished on smartphones.
- Problem-Solving : Ability to debug theme conflicts, server errors, or broken webhooks quickly during high-traffic festive sale periods.

- An Eye for Luxury Aesthetics : Understanding that a premium brand requires clean typography, precise pixel spacing, and elegant transitions.
- Transparent Communication : Ability to explain technical website issues or updates in simple, business-oriented terms to non-technical stakeholders.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
