Position Summary

Key ResponsibilitiesQuantity Estimation & BOQ

- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Develop and maintain BOQs for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works.
- Verify quantities executed at site and reconcile with approved BOQs.
- Assist project teams in material quantity planning and forecasting.

Cost Management & Budget Control

- Prepare project cost estimates and cost plans.
- Monitor project budgets and track actual costs against approved budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering proposals.
- Maintain project cost reports and MIS for management review.

Contractor Billing & Certification

- Verify contractor RA bills and final bills.
- Measure executed work and certify quantities.
- Track work orders, variations, extra items, and deviations.
- Ensure proper documentation supporting bill certification.

Tendering & Procurement Support

- Prepare tender documents, BOQs, and scope of work.
- Analyze vendor and contractor quotations.
- Conduct comparative statement analysis and recommendation reports.
- Support procurement and contracts teams during vendor finalization.

Contract Administration

- Monitor contract compliance and payment terms.
- Evaluate change orders, variation orders, and claims.
- Maintain records of work orders, amendments, and contract documents.
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants for commercial matters.

Project Coordination





- Coordinate with Architects, Structural Consultants, MEP Consultants, and Site Teams.
- Attend project review meetings and provide commercial updates.
- Support project teams in resolving quantity and billing-related issues.
- Ensure timely closure of commercial and contractual matters.

Required Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 5-6 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in real estate, residential, commercial, villa, plotted development, or high-rise projects.
- Experience in contractor billing, quantity estimation, and project costing is mandatory.

Technical Skills

- BOQ Preparation & Quantity Take-Off.
- Rate Analysis & Cost Estimation.
- Contractor Billing & Final Bill Settlement.
- Tendering & Procurement Support.
- AutoCAD Drawing Interpretation.
- Advanced MS Excel.
- Knowledge of Contracts and Construction Costing.
- ERP exposure will be an added advantage.

Compensation

- Salary Range : ₹6.0 LPA - ₹9.0 LPA (depending on experience and project exposure).
