Job Description - Accountant (Government Tender & Landscaping Business)

About PCNS Nursery

PCNS Nursery is a leading organization specializing in Greenery Development, Landscaping, Tree Translocation, Avenue Plantation, and Environmental Projects . We execute government contracts for Central, State, Municipal, and Public Sector organizations and are looking for a dedicated Accountant to strengthen our finance and accounts team.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally Prime .
- Record purchase, sales, payment, receipt, journal, and contra vouchers.
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
- Maintain Accounts Receivable (Debtors) and Accounts Payable (Creditors).
- Prepare GST-compliant invoices and maintain proper accounting records.
- Calculate and file TDS Returns and reconcile with Form 26AS.
- Handle GST TDS/TCS reconciliation wherever applicable.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial statements.
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register.
- Process employee payroll, EPF , ESI , Professional Tax , and statutory deductions.
- Maintain proper documentation for government tender projects.




- Assist in preparation of project-wise cost statements and payment follow-up.
- Maintain vendor and customer ledgers.
- Support management with financial reports and other accounting activities.

Required Skills :

- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime .
- Good knowledge of GST and TDS .
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF formulas, basic reports).
- Knowledge of Journal Entries, Ledger Scrutiny, BRS, and Finalization support.
- Familiarity with Government Tender billing and accounting will be an added advantage.
- Valuable communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Educational Qualification

- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
- Tally Certification is preferred.
